Curb Appeal First, look at the outside of your home, or your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the exterior of your house from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What would've-been-eye-catching characteristics seem to fade into the background?
Knowing this assists us in deciding what measures we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with refreshed paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your house's final selling price.

"Welcome to your new home!"
Can buyers envision themselves hanging out in your living space, reading a good book in your master bedroom or getting work done in your home office? We want your home to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of comfort. We'll help you achieve this by recommending changes that enhance the features of your home.
We'll suggest that you reduce the effect of things that give the look of clutter. Counter tops should be cleared off. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and play time drawings should get stored away too. We can help you simplify the decor of house. Ugly or busy spaces make your home look less spacious and buyers have a harder time seeing themselves living there.
Every room gets a once-over. We'll note the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that need shining, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively influence the sale.
Potential buyers like to see a property that charms them. Decor that could be "offensive" should be removed so that your house will achieve mass appeal while on the market.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when for the Open House, because all of the improvements mesh together to paint a picture of what buyers can look forward to when they consider buying your house.
Brightening up your interior is of major importance, so we'll do things like open curtains and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and ensure a nice aroma circulates room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking bedspreads, and throw pillows on your love seat and bedding. |
